Real Property Accountability (RPA) provides the warfighter and CBMs access to near-real-time secure, accurate and reliable information on real property assets, and environment, safety, and occupational health sustainability.
The Real Property and Installations Lifecycle Management (RPILM) CBM will provide the warfighter and other Core Business Missions with continuous access to Installations & Environment (I&E) information. |
Real Property Accountability Objectives
- Deliver consistent real property, environmental liabilities, and hazardous materials (Hazmat) information, supported by standard processes and data
- Integrate financial, real property, and environmental business practices
- Reduce real property inventory management burdens and inefficiencies
- Provide net-centric data environment that can enable delivery of accurate, real-time integrated data
- Provide a complete inventory of environmental liabilities reconciled with property, plant, and equipment records, adequate environmental liabilities (EL) management controls, audit trails, cost estimates, and documentation
- Increase Hazmat operational support, protection, and control
- Reduce Hazmat related environmental violations, lost-time incidents, and exposure
- Geo-enable location information

- Refined information modeled during BEA v3.0 development to update entities, Attributes, and relationships to reflect more accurately the naming, business meaning, and usage of linear structures, structures, and buildings that comprise a Real Property Network
- Organized geospatial data and coordinate reference system entities introduced in BEA 5.0 to more clearly reflect the ISO standards
- Refined Environmental Liability (EL) data models to improve the representation of the EL requirements
